Dr. Jiamin (Jim) Teng has been elected as president-elect for the TJMCOAA in a recent election sponsored and participated by the board of the TJMCOAA. His presidency is expected to start from the beginning of 2007 for a term of usually one year.
The current
president-elect, Dr
Dachun (Dale) Tang will take his
presidency after President Dr Qiang (John) Wang finishes his term at
the end of this year.
Dr Teng is an Assistant Professor in the Pathology of Saint Louis University Medical School in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. He was a director in the Division of Public Relation of this association. He has contributed significantly to a variety of public activities for this organization during last year. We believe that with his talents and enthusiasm he will be one of invaluable leaders for this association in fulfilling future aims of the organization.
The election process started last November, and five board members were nominated. Of them, two stood for the election, and Teng won most of the votes from the board members.
